Donate appliances (Donate used Appliances) to the Houston Charity Center

Updating your home with a new appliance; perhaps a refrigerator or a toaster? And not sure what to do with the old ones? Consider helping those in need by donating your used appliances. Whether it is a toaster, a washing machine or a refrigerator, there are thousands of families that can benefit from your appliance donation. There are many who have lost everything in natural calamities and accidents and are rebuilding their lives from a scratch. Though appliance donations cannot replace what they have lost, it will surely help them in their struggle to pick up the pieces and move on.

At the Houston Charity Center (Houston Charity Center), we encourage you to donate appliances  such as TV sets, refrigerators, kitchen gadgets and washing machines. We request that the donated appliances be in good working order. 

Finally, when you decide to donate appliances please ensure that they are not damaged and do not have missing parts. It’s a small effort towards respecting the dignity of the recipients and ensuring their safety. Also make sure that the appliance is accompanied by its cables and if possible, user's manual as well. When you donate appliances (Donate Appliances), you can always claim a tax deduction, up to the market value of the donated item. But we suggest that it's better to consult your tax advisor for more details on current IRS rules.
